Hi - if I want to put the URL to our audio files on another site what pathway do I use? Is it our website name.com/files/xxx.mp3 or do I have to put the full admin site name with the full file path? What happens about it accessing without inputting the password?

you need to use www.yourdomainname.com/site/files/xxx.mp3 - you had it right but you had missed out the 'site' part
